The Computational cluster is situated in the Theoretical Department of the Institute for Nuclear Research RAS. The main purpose of Cluster is to provide computational power for theoretical and selected experimental projects.
According to linpack test, cluster performance is approximately 300 GFlops.
So far, Cluster projects include:
- Calculation of Feynman diagrams
- Search for semiclassical solutions in quantum field theory
- Computations in cosmology and astrophysics
- Extensive air shower simulations
- Selected experimental projects
Financial support:
